What usually changes the price
The biggest price drivers are machine condition, exact row configuration, capacity, and whether payment hardware is already included. Freight planning also changes the real out-the-door cost more than buyers expect.
- Used versus refurbished condition
- Selection count and row layout
- Machine cleanliness and testing status
- Payment hardware included or not
- Freight, palletizing, and pickup costs
Why configuration matters
An AMS 39 with more rows and more capacity deserves a different conversation than a lower-capacity configuration. If two listings look similar but one has a more useful row setup, they are not really the same product from an operator point of view.
How to compare listings without overpaying
Compare exact machine details, not just the headline. Ask whether the validator and coin mech are included, whether the machine is tested, and how it will be prepared for pickup or freight.
That gives you a real apples-to-apples number instead of a headline price that hides the rest of the cost.
